Back the project
Running this costs money. Help fund it.
Disc Golf Go is an independent project. The coaching videos it points you at are free on YouTube and always will be — what backing pays for is everything around them: the servers the app runs on, the work of building and improving it, and putting on the in-person events.

Servers and infrastructure
Hosting, the database, outbound email and the domain. It is a bill that arrives every month whether anyone backs the project or not, and it scales with the number of people using the app.
The people building it
The app does not write itself. Someone builds the features, matches each lesson to the video that teaches that specific thing, re-checks the 199 video references when they move or go stale, and keeps 1,532 courses current.
Upgrades
New features, better tools, and the things on the list that have not been built yet. Backing is the difference between shipping them and shipping them eventually.
The events
Disc Golf Go runs in-person tournaments — the first is the Boulder Creek Re-Run, a PDGA C-tier on 12 December 2026. Entry fees cover the round itself; what they do not cover is everything around it.
What backing does not buy
Not early access, not a supporter tier, not an edge. Backers get nothing in the app that anyone else does not get — that is deliberate. A training library that teaches the paying players more is not a training library worth having, and a leaderboard you can buy a place on is not a leaderboard.
The app is free to use, and the lessons point at coaching videos that are free to watch on the channels that made them. Backing is support for the project, not a purchase.
Other ways to help, that cost nothing
- Tell someone. A player who would use it is worth more than a tenner.
- Turn up to an event. The next one is here.
- Tell us what is wrong with it. Bugs, a lesson that does not land, a course with the wrong details — send it over.
Disc Golf Go is an independent project, not a registered charity — contributions are support, not tax-deductible donations, and they buy no stake in the business. Payments are handled entirely by PayPal; we never see your card details. Questions: contact@discgolfgo.com.
